Your AI Just Got Eyes on Your Meta Ad Account

You've been there. You're in the middle of a conversation with ChatGPT or Claude, talking through your ad strategy, and you ask the obvious question: "How are my campaigns doing this week?"

And it hits you with: "I don't have access to your ad account data. Could you export a CSV and upload it?"

So you leave the conversation. Open Ads Manager. Navigate to the right date range. Export. Download. Go back. Upload. Wait. And by the time the AI has context, you've lost your train of thought.

That's over now!

We just launched the AdAdvisor MCP Server

Today, the AdAdvisor MCP Server is live. It connects your Meta (Facebook) ad account directly to your AI assistant. Connect once, and your AI can read your campaign data on its own. No exports. No uploads. No interruptions.

It works with Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, and any other tool that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). We didn't build this for one specific app. If your AI tool speaks MCP, it works.

What MCP actually is

MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external data sources. Think of it like giving your AI a direct line into your ad account. It can see your campaigns, ad sets, and ads, along with the metrics that matter: spend, ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversions, and everything in between.

But raw data access is only half the story….

Your AI finally knows your business

Here's what makes AdAdvisor different from just plugging into the Meta API.

When you set up AdAdvisor, you enter your business fundamentals. Your break-even ROAS. Your average order value. Your target cost per lead. Your monthly budget. The MCP server exposes all of that to your AI assistant alongside your campaign data.

So when you ask "Is my ROAS good?", it doesn't give you a generic answer. It knows your break-even point. It knows your margins. It can tell you whether a 4x ROAS means you're making money or barely staying afloat, because that depends entirely on your business.

We also crawl your website to build a business profile. So the AI understands what you sell, how you position it, and what your landing experience looks like. It's not just reading numbers in a vacuum. It has the full picture.

This is the difference between an AI that pulls data and one that actually understands your situation.

What you can do with it right now

Here's what changes starting today.

Run a full account audit. Ask your AI to review every active campaign and flag what's underperforming against your targets. Not against some generic industry benchmark. Against your actual goals.

Check on your agency. If someone else manages your ads, you now have an independent second opinion on every dollar they're spending. Ask the AI to break down where your budget is going and whether the results justify it. No awkward phone call needed.

Strategize for what's ahead. Getting ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Ask your AI to analyze last year's performance, identify your best-performing ad sets, and help you build a plan. With your actual historical data right there, not vibes and guesses.

Debug campaigns in real time. Something tanking? Instead of staring at Ads Manager trying to figure out what changed, describe the problem to your AI and let it dig through the data. It can compare time periods, surface anomalies, and suggest what to test next.

Just talk through your ads. Sometimes you don't need a formal audit. You just want to think out loud about your ad account with someone who knows the numbers. Now your AI is that someone.

Why not just use the Meta API directly?

You could build this yourself. Here's what that looks like:

  • Create and configure a Meta developer app
  • Manage OAuth tokens, refresh flows, and permissions
  • Deal with rate limits and API versioning
  • Figure out which fields to request and how to structure queries

That's weeks of dev work before you get your first useful answer.

AdAdvisor handles all of it. You connect your Meta account once through a simple OAuth flow. We take care of authentication, token management, data syncing, and API complexity. All of it invisible to you.

The MCP tools are also designed specifically for AI assistants. The responses are structured and annotated so the AI gets the most useful context possible, not raw API dumps that it has to interpret on its own.

Getting started takes five minutes

Here's the full setup:

  1. Create your account at https://app.adadvisor.ai. You get a 7-day free trial with full access to everything, including the MCP server.
  2. Set up your organization and enter your business metrics (AOV, break-even ROAS, target CPL, budget).
  3. Add your website so AdAdvisor can build a business profile and insights.
  4. Connect your Meta ad account through OAuth. One click, no API keys.
  5. Wait for the initial sync. Usually a few minutes depending on account size.
  6. Connect the MCP server to your AI tool of choice.

We wrote a detailed walkthrough for the entire process: Getting Started with the AdAdvisor MCP Server

💡

You keep MCP access even on the free plan

The MCP server is included at every plan level. Even if you cancel after your 7-day trial, you still get access.

What's coming next

This is the first release, not the last.

Actions, not just reads. Soon your AI will be able to pause campaigns, adjust budgets, and make changes to your ad account directly. With approval gates so nothing executes without your confirmation.

More platforms. Meta is first. Google Ads, TikTok, and others are on the roadmap.

Deeper AdAdvisor integration. Trigger recommendation runs, review AI-generated suggestions, and manage your entire account from within your AI tool.

Try it out today

We built AdAdvisor because managing Meta ads shouldn't require you to be a full-time data analyst. The MCP server takes that further. Your AI assistant already knows how to think about advertising strategy. Now it has your actual data to work with.

Connect your account, hook up the MCP server, and ask your AI a question about your ads. The first time it answers with your real numbers instead of asking you to upload a CSV, you'll wonder how you ever worked without it.
